One morning after an entire night of having my year old son Om tossing and turning in bed next to me, I awoke to call him the "Tandav Monkey." It was a hilarious name and so apt.

The cosmic dance of creation and destruction, the "Tandav" is a dynamic chaotic and unpredictable expression of power.

When I call Om my Tandav Monkey, I use the word far more liberally and in the colloquial more affectionate sense where he's my - action packed, energy filled and in continuous motion, chaotic Monkey!

My "Tandav Monkey" has me completely under his hold ever since I knew of his arrival. He has changed almost everything I do, how I do it and is constantly showing me new ways to look at life.

This collection, inspired by Om, is my modest attempt to
- Rediscover my sense of style so that I can balance my instinct to be stylish with the reality of having to be practical.
- Contribute to the promotion of an animal-free lifestyle

I know there are many of you out there, who just like me, want to lead a cruelty free lifestyle and now have a strong need for utility in your fashion choices.
